The "Videotext" project transforms reading into observing how text is born: step by step, one can trace how Pushkin's drafts come together to form a familiar work. Imagine that when you read, what unfolds before your eyes is not a finished page, but the author's thoughts. At the meeting dedicated to the "Videotext" project, participants will step by step understand how researchers turn Pushkin's drafts into a living digital script, where each correction, deletion, and added line forms an independent narrative. Guests will learn how the team from Moscow Polytech, together with colleagues from the V.V. Vinogradov Institute of the Russian Language of the Russian Academy of Sciences, translates manuscripts into a format that literally allows scrolling through the writing process. This perspective on the manuscript helps to hear the poet's intonation anew and see which decisions were made immediately and where the text was born through doubts and searches. A separate conversation will be dedicated to how such digital technologies change reading habits and the work of publishers. Genetic reading allows for a different discussion about school and university curricula, building exhibition displays, and developing interactive publications in which the reader becomes a participant in the creative process. Philologists, students of the humanities, and simply lovers of literature will be able to ask the project's authors practical questions about how this system is structured, what data underlies it, and how it is evolving.
