Swindled

A brand spanking new band from the North East has emerged and BBC Radio 1 likes them, a lot! Swindled are a five-piece art-pop whirlwind with sky-high harmonies, razor-sharp lyrics, ginger hair, shiny shoes, and synchronised moves you can’t take your eyes off. Their live show is pure theatre - part gig, part spectacle - fuelled by the sheer joy (and occasional chaos) of playing live. 2026 started with tour dates with Reverend and The Makers and 90s legends Dodgy. The band, who have already been crowned BBC Introducing’s one’s to watch for 2026 have recently released their latest singled “Loved up and worried.
