The fate of Vladimir Mayakovsky becomes an opportunity for a conversation about love, creativity, and internal crisis. At the center of the production are the complex relationships of the poet with Lily and Osip Brik. The play is based on the autobiography "I Myself," supplemented by poems and verses of Vladimir Mayakovsky. His story on stage is embodied by Nikita Kologrivyy. Behind the poet's external sharpness and temperament, the production examines vulnerability, contradictions, and a complicated personal life. A special place is occupied by the love triangle of Mayakovsky, Lily, and Osip Brik. Their relationships are shown without a clear distribution of roles: it is difficult to determine who becomes the savior, the victim, or the tyrant. Through the conflict, a person is revealed, torn between feelings, literature, and internal fracture. Other performances in St. Petersburg are available on KUDAGO.
