The familiar plot gained worldwide fame after the release of the film with Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni. At the center of the production is the confrontation between Filumena and Domenico Soriano. Behind sharp remarks, irony, and external irreconcilability, the years of shared life, love, grievances, and unfulfilled hopes gradually emerge. The story revolves around a choice that can change the usual order of things and make the characters look at each other anew. The main roles are played by Nonna Grishaeva and Dmitry Frid.
