La Mari, the protagonist of our story, lives on the street with her little brother. He sells marzipan, she cleans shoes. One day, social services take her brother away, and she embarks on a quest to get him back. In trying to find her last client - Colonel Vizcaíno - to ask for help, La Mari ends up enlisting in the Armed Forces of Peace. There, she ultimately joins the troops... Will she find her brother?
