Sofía Rei / Fest Cervantino in CDMX

Sofía Rei, a Grammy-nominated vocalist, composer, and producer signed to GroundUP, Michael League's label (Snarky Puppy), arrives for the first time at Lunario after her participation in the International Cervantino Festival. Known for her unique voice and a musical proposal that challenges genre boundaries, Rei naturally transitions between Latin American folk roots, jazz, experimental music, and electronic music. She has toured 35 countries, performed twice at NPR's Tiny Desk, and collaborated with figures like Bobby McFerrin, John Zorn, and Marc Ribot. In this concert, Sofía Rei presents songs from her latest album, Antónima.
