Premiere of the play "Name"

A story about how a random conversation can uncover old conflicts and change relationships. The play combines humor and tense dramaturgy, keeping attention until the end. The plot unfolds during a family dinner that starts calmly but quickly spirals out of control. The reason is the choice of a name for the future child - an unexpected decision by the protagonist triggers a chain of disputes and mutual accusations, revealing long-standing grievances and hidden conflicts. The conversation at the table gradually turns into a tense clash of characters. The masks of politeness fall away, and the characters learn more about each other than they were ready to hear. Comedic situations are replaced by sharp dialogues, and beneath the external ease lies psychological depth. The production is based on a famous French play by Alexandre de la Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte, which has received wide acclaim and stage life in various countries. In the new version by directors Sergey Kalvarsky and Natalia Kapustina, the action is set in modern times and filled with recognizable details.
