Oslo Negativ 2026

Welcome to Oslo Negativ 2026! We are excited to invite you to the sixth edition of Oslo Negativ! From October 10 to 25, the festival will fill the old National Gallery at Tullinløkka with photography from floor to ceiling. Over three weekends in October, you can experience more than 40 exhibitions, lectures, courses, and workshops - from international stars to established Norwegian photographers and new talents. The festival is a gathering point for practitioners, collectors, photography lovers, and photo-curious individuals of all ages. This year's theme: Passion. Passion is something that drives us. It leads us to seek what we care about, immerse ourselves in what engages us, and act on what we perceive as important. In a time marked by strong opinions and clear contrasts, passion reminds us that the world can be experienced in many different ways. It opens up personal perspectives and makes it possible to notice what others may not see.
