Described as a contemporary voice blending the vulnerability and acoustic genius of Nick Drake, John Fahey, and Tom Waits, veteran folksinger-songwriter Mason Jennings has spent over two decades crafting unpretentious, deeply healing Americana music. First breaking out of Minneapolis in the late 1990s, Jennings earned immediate critical acclaim and high-profile fans like Jack Johnson and Isaac Brock (Modest Mouse). Known for his stripped-back acoustic arrangements as well as expansive genre-crossing projects, including his synth-rock supergroup "Painted Shield"Jennings continually evolves while staying anchored in raw, authentic songcraft. The Box Office at Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, offering both in-person and phone ticket sales.
