EventNadishana Concert
About this event
Nadishana Concert is a meeting with ethnic music, where the handpan sounds like an orchestra, and original instruments lead from complex rhythms to whimsical harmonies. The main instrument of the program is the handpan, but here it goes far beyond the familiar soft ringing. Nadishana builds multilayered patterns and changes the density of sound. The musical language is based on original instruments, curved dimensions, and whimsical harmonies. The rhythm may seem uneven, but gradually an internal system becomes clear. The timbre changes from soft metallic glow to dry percussive pulse, and the melody relies on details that are better heard in a club space. Where to go in St. Petersburg today, look for it on KUDAGO.
