This evening is the result of two months of experiments, doubts, and musical discoveries. The graduation concert of the IMPROCOMP course will unite premieres of new compositions and collective improvisation. Modern techniques, a live stage, and music that is born right before your eyes - this is what makes it worth listening to. What is contemporary academic music? Sometimes it’s scores. Sometimes it’s chaos. Sometimes it’s pure air. The concert "IMPROCOMP" at the Rassvet House of Culture is the culmination of two months of creative and intellectual work by students and curators: composers Vladimir Gorlinsky and Alexey Sysoyev. It’s also a rare opportunity to hear how music is created here and now, not by rules, but from within - by touch, by ear, by impulse. The program is divided into two parts. The first part features premieres of compositions by young composers written as part of the course. These are names you may hear again: Artyom Baskakov, Galina Krasnokutskaya, Ruben Mirzayanц, and others. The second part is pure improvisation. All of this is performed by the ensemble Reheard - students and graduates of the Moscow Conservatory and the Gnessin Academy. Musicians who feel each other with half a glance.
