Gudimir Concert

Miniatures from the 16th century will come to life on the screen, while the music reveals the images and stories of the ancient manuscript. At the center of the program is the "Faceted Chronicle" of Ivan the Terrible, one of the grand historical monuments of its time. This manuscript corpus unites about 20,000 pages of text and 10 volumes, covering the history of humanity from the creation of the world to the idea of the Third Rome. During the concert, the miniatures from the chronicle will appear on the screen. Gudimir's music was created under the impression of historical plots, images, and the plasticity of manuscript illustrations, so the visual part here does not serve as a simple background. It helps to see the familiar era through details, gestures, and symbols. We tell you on KUDAGO where to go in Saint Petersburg.
