Masterpieces of classical music, famous soundtracks, and gems of Armenian folk music will be performed by duduk player Arsen Kostonyan and the vibrant St. Petersburg ensemble Olympic Orchestra. Guests of the evening will immerse themselves in an atmosphere of harmony created by magnificent music in a heartfelt performance. The program includes compositions by Bach, Rachmaninoff, Piazzolla, themes from iconic films, as well as Armenian folk melodies. The sound of the ancient duduk captivates with its tenderness. Accompanied by orchestral instruments, it sounds bright, contemporary, and adds an unexpected color to the orchestra. The duduk part is performed by Arsen Kostonyan, who masterfully plays several wind instruments. The Olympic Orchestra, conducted by Alexander Golikov, consists of young bold professionals offering fresh and unusual interpretations of various works.
