Organ masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach and compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for piano within a single program, constructed on the principle of an ancient musical duel. The tradition of musical duels in Europe dates back centuries. Today, it is continued by "Amadeus". Under the arches of Petrikirche, musicians from St. Petersburg will present works by the indisputable geniuses of classical music - Johann Sebastian Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Both are unattainable peaks, each with their own style and character. As part of the concert cycle "Battle of the Keyboards," the best organ compositions of Bach will clash with the brightest piano works of Mozart in the temple's acoustics. Listeners will have the opportunity to touch high art and compare the musical concepts of different eras. Performers - leading musicians from St. Petersburg, laureates of international competitions, soloists and guest musicians of the Mariinsky Theatre and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic.
