How Propaganda Works

Tamara Natановна Eidelman - historian, writer, educator, and author of a popular YouTube channel with over 1 million subscribers - will speak on November 3 at 7:00 PM in México with a lecture titled "How Propaganda Works." For centuries, the methods of manipulating the minds of thousands and millions of people have remained virtually unchanged. Today, propagandists have much more powerful technologies, but why do millions suddenly start believing the most insane and cruel things? Perhaps propaganda has found the weak spots that make people defenseless? Is it possible to protect oneself from its influence? Tamara Eidelman will attempt to find answers to these questions together with the audience, reviewing the history of propaganda and its mechanisms to understand how it affects human minds. After the lecture, everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions to Tamara Natановна. When: November 3 at 7:00 PM Where: Holiday Inn & Suites Mexico Zona Reforma by IHG The lecture will be held in Russian. Doors to the hall open at 6:30 PM.
