ExcursionsA walk around Vasilievsky Island, where behind the familiar lines and facades lie many curious stories. Konstantin Sholmov will guide through places associated with writers, artists, and other notable inhabitants of the island. The tour will start at lines 6-7: here you will meet the house of Kovrigin, the Larin Gymnasium, the house of Sofia Kovalevskaya, and the St. Andrew's Cathedral. Then the route will lead to the St. Andrew's Market and Pelya's pharmacy, and afterwards - to Academic Lane and lines 4-5. The program will also include the Courtyard of Spirits and a story about Vrubel and the clinic where he spent the last years of his life. A separate stop will be the house of Cherubina de Gabriac. Along the way, the guide will suggest looking at the courtyards, entrances, and windows - it is there that many details have been preserved that can help reconstruct the history of the island. The walk will conclude at the "Vasileostrovskaya" metro station. The tour will be conducted by Konstantin Sholmov. This is an authorial route, so the narrative and its duration may change depending on the guide's improvisation. To move freely along the route and not miss anything, each participant will be provided with a radio receiver with individual headphones. The devices work at a distance of up to 100 meters. 📍 Meeting place - "Vasileostrovskaya" metro station (monument to the Petersburg tram). Registration can be done on the website of the House of Culture of Lev Lurye. What to see in St. Petersburg will be suggested by KUDAGO.
