Ancient hieroglyphs, stern and just gods, luxurious sarcophagi, and mysterious mummies - participants will touch the culture of Ancient Egypt and try to unravel its secrets. Accompanied by a guide and art historian, guests of the Pushkin Museum will embark on an exciting journey into the past, visiting ancient Egyptian gods and pharaohs. The kids will view figurines, sculptures, sarcophagi, mummies, and additional materials that will help them uncover the mysteries of the past and share many fascinating facts about the history of this great civilization. Participants will get to know the pantheon of Egyptian gods, learn to decipher hieroglyphs, memorize ancient words, discover the secrets of the Book of the Dead, attempt to decode the meanings of symbols and amulets, and also take part in the celebration of the Day of the god Hapi.
