Children's Tour "At the Empress's Ball"

Young participants of the tour, accompanied by an experienced guide, will view the exhibits of the State Historical Museum and discover many new fascinating facts about the life of secular Russia in the 18th and 19th centuries. The walk through the museum halls will transport the kids back in time to the era of the first Russian emperors. Boys and girls will be invited to a ball, introduced to the basics of social etiquette, and shown what carriages looked like. In addition, children will enjoy an exciting excursion into the history of masquerades and fireworks, as well as an introduction to the achievements of Mikhail Lomonosov. The tour is conducted in a playful format. Besides intriguing historical summaries, the kids will have engaging lessons on the language of the fan and the art of cotillion dance.
