PROGRAM Works by three American masters closes City Ballet's dance series celebrating America's 250th anniversary, featuring three iconic ballets from the 20th century. CONCERTO BAROCCO Choreography: George Balanchine (1941) Music: "Concerto in D minor for Two Violins, BWV 1043" by Johann Sebastian Bach (1730) ASH Choreography: Peter Martins (1991) Music: "Ash" by Michael Torke (1991) LIGHT RAIN San Diego Premiere Choreography: Gerald Arpino (1981) Music: Douglas Adamz and Russ Gauthier (1981) PRE-PERFORMANCE LECTURE City Ballet of San Diego Artistic Director Steven Wistrich offers insights and perspectives into the program. The lecture begins 45 minutes prior to the performance. Your ticket is a revocable seat license. We reserve the right to void your tickets and refund your purchase if we discover you resell your tickets above the face value of the tickets. This is a cashless venue. This applies to all ticket sales, food & beverage purchases, and binocular rentals. All ages must have own ticket. No Cameras or Recording allowed. Re-prints/ re-issued barcodes for tickets not downloaded prior to arriving at the venue will incur a $5 Green Fee-- this includes tickets not properly downloaded. Your Seat locations and Barcodes must be clearly visible. Due to security enhancements, please arrive at least 45-60 minutes prior to event time. Please only bring essential items with you. The venue will only permit bags that are 12"x12" or smaller. Any bags/backpacks that are larger in size will need to be returned to the owner's vehicle or disposed of.
