October 24, 19:00. Anton Chekhov's THE SEAGULL updated version (new cast) Citadela Stari Grad Budva. Two capital celebrities, passing through, returning from a tour in Kharkiv, decide to relax a bit in nature in a picturesque Ukrainian village by the lake... they have no idea what this rest will lead to, and what trials fate has prepared for them... It is from this play, which premiered in Budva on March 27, 2023, that the story of the EUROPEAN ACT Theater in Montenegro began. Over three years, the theater has released three versions of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull," with different thematic accents, different actors, different musical arrangements, and different directorial discoveries. The premiere of the fourth version features a deeper immersion into the style of avant-garde theater, a more vivid generational conflict, and a brighter ending. The plot revolves around the relationships between parents and adult children, the search for oneself and one’s place in this crazy world, love and unrequited feelings, innovation and creativity, theater in all its manifestations.
