TheatreBoy Falls From The Sky
Written and Performed by Jake Epstein Directed by and developed with Robert McQueen Orchestrations, Arrangements and Musical Supervision by Daniel Abrahamson Best known as "that guy from Degrassi," Jake Epstein went on to star in the U.S. National Tours of Spring Awakening and American Idiot, play Spider-Man on Broadway, and originate the role of Gerry Goffin in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Not bad for a kid who once dreamed of Broadway from the back seat of his parents' minivan. In this newly updated version of his hit autobiographical musical, Boy Falls From The Sky, Epstein pulls back the curtain with humour and heart. Through unforgettable songs and candid stories - from touring the U.S. to surviving Spider-Man, from Broadway boos to backstage heartbreak - he reveals the rejection, fear, and resilience behind the spotlight. A funny, moving, and deeply human showbiz tell-all, Boy Falls From The Sky is for anyone who's ever dared to chase a dream.
