Umut Adan & Zebânis Following his performance at Colours of Ostrava, one of Europe’s largest festivals, Umut Adan and Zebânis appear at the Gümüşlük Music Festival on July 24th as part of the SUDA stage series. Turkish singer-songwriter and guitarist Umut Adan, with his Italian band Zebânis, makes a darkly psychedelic music rooted in Anatolian folk - protest folk fused with psych, electronics and field recordings. Born in Istanbul in an apartment building where five different faiths lived side by side, Adan turns that plural heritage into a transnational, hypnotic and defiantly danceable sound. His debut Bahar (Riverboat Records, 2019) was named among the year's best world-music albums; his new album Başka Bahar / Another Spring (Six Degrees Records, 2026) carries that vision into something heavier, more electronic and unmistakably his own. This special performance at the festival's SUDA stage brings together Umut Adan's unique musical world and the energy of Zebânis.
