Young participants of the workshop will learn why trash has become a problem for the planet and how everyone can help nature. A conversation about ecology with children is best started with clear things: where does the bag go after the store, why a plastic bottle is not like an apple core, and what happens to trash if it is simply thrown away. The workshop is intended for children aged 6-12. Specialists from the eco-center "Losiny Ostrov" will explain why trash has become a serious problem for the planet. Children will learn that in the past, most waste was organic and quickly returned to the natural cycle, while modern civilization produces more and more things that decompose very slowly. Simple examples will illustrate how trash affects the habitat of animals, pollutes the soil and water, interferes with plants, and gradually changes the space around us.
