Ancient Greek myths will turn into a game of reading, movement, and imagination. In this developmental class, children aged 6-8 will get acquainted with the marine layer of ancient Greek tales through the book by Nikolai Kuna and a fun comic. The kids will be transported to the underwater kingdom of the Greek god of the seas. Teacher Svetlana Kazakova will explain who inhabits this mythological world, why ancient people explained the sea through images of gods and creatures. The mythological plots will sound understandable and close to the modern child. The main feature of the class is theatrical improvisation and a socio-playful style of learning. Children will read, listen, invent scenes, try roles, and perform small sketches in front of other participants.
