The Student Press Center of St. Petersburg is hosting the youth forum for the 15th time, bringing together participants from over 40 regions of the country and neighboring countries. This time, the theme of the forum is media through the lens of personality. Every text or story is created for a person and about a person, and even when neural networks come into play, the perspective, choice, and responsibility of people remain key. The program will include workshops, lectures, and discussions. Experienced journalists, editors, and PR specialists will discuss the role of personality in the profession, debate where the line is drawn between the author and the brand, and how to maintain honesty and empathy while striving for speed and reach. "MediaStart" is a unique platform where young professionals interact with experienced industry representatives and gain opportunities for career growth. The forum will also host the youth media competition "MediaGeneration" and the photography contest "City-812", with valuable prizes for the winners. Admission to the event is free, but prior registration is required.
