Nearly a hundred films about the achievements, talents, and various aspects of the lives of people with disabilities will be showcased at the international festival "Cinema Without Barriers". The film festival, dedicated to people with disabilities, will take place in Moscow for the 13th time. It will feature films from around the world, including those that will not be released in wide distribution and will not be shown in Russia. In addition to screenings, there will be meetings with directors, film heroes, and experts. The goal of the project is to change the stereotypical view of disability by revealing different facets of human experience. This year, more than 90 films from various countries have been selected for screening, including from Russia, the USA, Spain, France, Israel, and Iran. The program includes films of various genres: feature films, documentaries, short films, animation, including works that participated in and won prestigious festivals. All films are dedicated to the fates, dreams, and achievements of people with disabilities. This is powerful and touching cinema that will be of interest not only to participants in the inclusive movement but also to a wide range of viewers. There will also be a film program for children. Additionally, the festival will host a business program with discussions, master classes, and round tables featuring representatives of the Russian film industry.
