The winter season in mosaic transforms into a story about silence, light, and the slow breath of time. The artists of the "Pomegranate Garden" studio gather these sensations from glass, smalt, and stone, turning cold motifs into living, almost tangible paintings. The exhibition features works by contemporary masters for whom winter is a special state of the world and humanity. Their compositions include snowy landscapes, hints of Christmas and New Year themes, abstract images of silence, expectation, and inner light. Each mosaic seems to capture a moment of pause when life is hidden under a blanket of snow but continues to pulse confidently. The authors feel the theme differently: some choose transparent, almost fragile color transitions, while others work with deep shades of the night sky and winter lights. Texture plays an important role-smooth and rough surfaces, glass reflections, and the matte weight of stone. Because of this, the mosaics read like a complex text, where each fragment and each glimmer becomes a separate intonation. The project unites masters with different styles, and the careful attention to detail and light transforms the exhibition into a contemplative winter space. Mosaic requires patience and concentration, and this rhythm of work is felt in each piece: in the precision of lines, in the measured color combinations, in the barely noticeable transitions from cold to warmth. Thus, a special feeling of inner coziness is born, when amidst the frosty palette, softness, hope, and a sense of new beginnings unexpectedly emerge. The exhibition takes place in the portcullis and casemate of the State Bastion of the Peter and Paul Fortress.
