Circles, flowers, landscapes, and everyday objects - in the paintings of Yuri Kosagovsky, familiar themes come together in a world without sharp corners. His retrospective brings together about 50 works from different years - from early experiments to mature rondic compositions. The exhibition features works from various years: from early experiments of the 1960s and 1970s to mature rondic compositions. Kosagovsky's rondism revolves around the circle: his paintings almost lack sharp corners, and the forms seem to be in constant motion. The viewer will see landscapes, still lifes, narrative compositions, and portraits collected in one exhibition. Complementing the paintings will be recordings of Kosagovsky's piano improvisations - he pursued music alongside painting and presented these performances at international festivals. Kosagovsky belonged to the second wave of Russian avant-garde and did not align with specific artistic groups, developing his own visual language.
