Sculptures and paintings created at the intersection of biography, memory, and theory transform fabric into an image of protection, vulnerability, and new identity. At the center of the project is a conversation about the body, memory, and ways of existing in a world where care often coexists with control. Artist Ilya Fedotov-Fyodorov draws from his own experience of illness and long stays in a hospital environment, making the exhibition a personal statement about fragility, alienation from oneself, and the search for a form that could provide protection. The main material becomes fabric - soft, warm, pliable, yet simultaneously industrial and standardized. In this contradiction, the main tension of the exhibition is born. Fleece, leather, and fragments of the artist's clothing turn into metaphors for the body, trauma, and memory. The material no longer serves as a shell in the usual sense: it replaces the face, becoming a new epidermis, a surface through which a person presents themselves to the world. The works also refer to the social mask as a means of adaptation. It does not conceal but helps exist within the system, simultaneously protecting and making the person recognizable.
