"The Cosmic Matter" is an immersion into the philosophy of Russian cosmism and contemporary art. Over 100 works by artists from all over Russia unite science, energy, and poetics. Each installation is a step towards understanding our connection with the cosmos and ourselves. The exhibition "The Cosmic Matter" at the Darwin Museum is an artistic statement in the spirit of Russian cosmism, where science, philosophy, and art merge into a single field of reflection on humanity and the universe. More than 100 works of contemporary art - painting, graphics, objects, installations, audio, and video art - are gathered in a space reminiscent of a symbolic tower. Each floor of the exhibition becomes a new step of knowledge - from the sensual to the intellectual, from the personal to the cosmic. The central idea of the project is global evolutionism: everything in the world is interconnected, everything consists of energy, and the boundary between the visible and the invisible is an illusion. The works of the participants not only illustrate the philosophy of cosmism but also vividly and poetically interpret it. Here you can see the cycle "Near Cosmos" by Vasily Shomov, born during the pandemic - a visual journey to the fundamentals of existence. An installation dedicated to Chizhevsky's lamp transforms a scientific invention into an artistic symbol of purification. The deep contemplation is conveyed by the works of Nadezhda Belova, filled with a sense of trust in the world and gratitude. The series "Letters to the Island" by Oleg Semyonov addresses the dialogue with nature as an independent subject. A special place is occupied by the series "Bark" by Yulia Nazar - a journey around Mount Kailash, filled with sacred experiences and personal revelations. The abstractions of Vadim Belousov are an attempt to decipher the geometry of universal harmony through a rethinking of the iconographic tradition. The exhibition unites 45 artists from different cities in Russia. It is a space for philosophy, dialogue, the search for harmony, and visual delight. It will be of interest to anyone seeking new meanings, appreciating the art of reflection, and wanting to see the world differently. If you don't know where to walk in Moscow.
