The exhibition tells about Alexey Khvostenko - a poet, artist, musician, playwright, and author of his own myths. His story transforms into a polyphonic portrait of a man who lived freely, mixed genres, and left behind a whole universe of images. Before the viewer emerges not a museum biography in the usual sense, but a living and dynamic figure of a person for whom art was never divided into separate disciplines. Poems, songs, drawings, assemblages, directing, improvisation, friendly conversations, and notebooks come together into one large statement about freedom and inner scope. In the spotlight are works and materials that show how Alexey Khvostenko's artistic language was born. Sculptural objects and assemblages seem to balance between a chance find and a precise gesture. A special intonation is set by the voices of those who knew him closely. Each remembers in their own way, and from these conflicting views, a three-dimensional image gradually forms - ironic, bold, passionate, unpredictable.
