Starting December 19, Yekaterinburg joins a series of cities where light, sound, and pixels begin to speak the language of art. The exhibition "Country. Connection. Technologies" will open in the park "Russia - My Story" - a space where the screen becomes a mirror of time, and code is the material for artists. Here, the familiar breaks down into particles of light: the portals of 3D artist DMITRIEV return to the world of courtyards and panel buildings, Brazilian-Argentinian artist Tec Fase expands the boundaries of perception, turning the urban landscape into a game of scales and lines, visible only from above, while the Chinese studio SKG+ creates digital worlds where one wants to get lost. The idea is backed by the team of the NUR NOW festival - the same team that has been gathering media artists from around the world for several years and seeks points of contact between tradition and neural networks. "Connection" here is not about cellular networks, but about the threads that weave people, cities, and technologies into a single pattern. In each frame, the breath of the country - from the noisy metropolis to the quiet landscape. There will be enough screens to dissolve into, and enough meanings not to get lost.
