The exhibition helps to see how rituals, symbols, and the visual language of festive culture have changed. One section is dedicated to Passover and introduces its theological foundation and ritual practice. Attention then shifts to the early Christian era and then to the traditions of celebrating Easter in Western and Eastern Christianity. The exhibition features icons, liturgical items, vestments, works of Western European and Russian painting, as well as graphics. The exhibition highlights not only the differences between traditions but also the lines of continuity that connect them in a common cultural and spiritual space.
