The exhibition features works by artists from the "Okoëm" workshops, for whom creativity becomes a language of conversation with themselves and the world. Sleep is understood here as a state between reality and imagination, transforming personal experiences into a visual diary. The exhibition explores the moment when wakefulness shifts to daydreams, and familiar forms of the world dissolve into images on the edge of the conscious and subconscious. Each work is born from the author's own experience: fatigue and rest, anxiety and calm, impressions that are difficult to express in words but can be stitched or painted in lines. Works created in various techniques are presented: fabric embroidery, painting, graphics, cyanotype. The textures of textiles, the density of brushstrokes, and translucent prints come together in a map where, instead of geography, there are routes of feelings and associations. Gesture, repetition, and attention to detail become the foundation of the artistic language, while the memory of the body suggests form and rhythm. The works of the "Okoëm" workshops come together in a quiet conversation about how a person experiences dreams and fears. This conversation particularly highlights the experiences of people with mental characteristics, for whom art is a way to organize impressions and hear their own voice. The exhibition creates an inclusive space where different ways of perceiving the world exist side by side. The viewer is invited to slow down, listen to the details, examine seams, half-tones, and recurring motifs, behind which the fragility of experience emerges. Ideas on where to go in Moscow are gathered on our website.
