From the windows of the halls where the exhibition will take place, the Strelka is visible - the confluence of the Oka and Volga rivers. This is not a coincidence: the real landscape outside the window has become part of the exhibition. Curator Daria Kolpashnikova has gathered over a hundred items from Russian museums - from the Russian Museum and the Shchusev Museum of Architecture to Nizhny Novgorod collections. The chronological range of the exhibits spans almost four centuries: the oldest item dates back to the mid-17th century, while the newest art objects were completed just before the opening. Students and faculty from the Nizhny Novgorod Higher School of Economics participated in the preparation - documenting the sound environment of the Strelka, working on the catalog, and creating interactive formats for visitors. The design and identity of the project were developed at the HSE School of Design through an open competition that involved over a hundred young designers.
