A group project by young authors examines the habit of embellishing reality into a convenient picture. Painting, graphics, and installations work as a soft trap: at first, everything seems carefree, but then the pink color begins to disturb. At the center of the project is the habit of improving reality to a tolerable state. A purchase promises joy, a childhood memory seems a safe haven, the beginning of a relationship is something to be preserved, youth is something to be delayed, pleasure is something to be repeated. The exhibition shows how easily a personal dream turns into a beautiful decoration. The pink color behaves differently here. Sometimes it looks gentle and festive, other times it becomes sticky, troubling, almost artificial. Thus, a feeling arises of a room where everything seems to promise comfort but gradually reveals hidden falsehood. The authors talk about self-deception, idealization, and the desire to hide from complex reality through various materials and tones.
