The workshop at the "Factory" will turn into a pixel mirage, where reality seems to be assembled from fragments of digital code. Valeria Sanchilo's exhibition is a shift in perception, the boundaries between the physical and the virtual, a closed world where everything moves according to its own, not entirely human laws. PiranesiLAB and the CTI "Factory" are opening a new exhibition by artist Valeria Sanchilo, known by the pseudonym Waneella. The project transports the viewer into a total installation built according to the rules of pixel graphics. The space of the hall becomes part of the digital world: monolithic walls, dim light, and interior objects seem to be constructed from large squares, imitating an old video game. Everything in this environment looks both familiar and alien - like an echo of someone else's virtual memory. The work creates an effect of slowed time: it neither moves forward nor returns backward, but seems to be stuck in an endless loop. Pixel stars on the ceiling slowly dissolve, turning the auditorium into an abstract landscape. The author offers a view of the maintenance area as a metaphor for cyclical decay - there is no catastrophe here, but everything slowly deteriorates, remaining in a stable state of end. Observation becomes the only available function of the viewer. The exhibition is particularly close to those interested in digital art, pixel aesthetics, and media philosophy. The "Service room" project is also a story about the impassable boundary between observation and action, about the impossibility of changing a pre-programmed cycle. The viewer remains inside, in the position of a silent witness - and this experience is akin to meditation in a maze of glitches and textures.
