The project, dedicated to the anniversary of one of the key masters of the Russian school, offers to hear the "quiet voice" of the landscape. Through the comparison of classical and contemporary art, the lyrical nature of the view of the world is revealed. The exhibition, opened at the end of December, is dedicated to the 195th anniversary of the birth of Alexei Savrasov - an artist who changed the perception of the Russian landscape. The project presents his work as a space of experimentation and innovation, building a poetic dialogue with works from other eras. Classical paintings of the 19th-20th centuries coexist with objects of contemporary art, forming a unified field of artistic meanings. The display includes 66 works: pieces by Savrasov himself, landscapes by his followers and contemporaries, as well as installations and video art by authors from the late 20th to the early 21st century. A separate block consists of 35 works by the artist, covering all stages of his journey and allowing one to see both the diversity of forms and a stable emotional line. Savrasov addressed those states of nature where externally "nothing happens," finding hidden life in stillness and achieving in his best works an almost metaphysical resonance. The exhibition is structured as a chain of visual and sensory echoes: from the lyrical moods and monumental silence of Russian landscape painters to geometry, minimalism, and images of cosmic scale in contemporary art. The project demonstrates how the landscape gradually occupied a central place in the hierarchy of genres and became a space for philosophical reflection. The display is complemented by large-scale scenographic solutions and a sound environment. The parallel program includes art mediations, lectures, workshops for children and adults, as well as a musical cycle dedicated to the resonance between Russian painting and music of the second half of the 19th century.
