About

The exhibition of artistic scarves from the Fashion House of Nina Ruchkina is dedicated to the diverse culture of the regions of Russia and the unity of the peoples. Designer Nina Ruchkina transforms the traditional headwear - the scarf - into a work of art. The exhibition "Russians in Fashion" features 58 scarf-paintings. Their unique designs reflect the richness of the culture of the peoples of Russia: crafts, traditions, history, masterpieces of artists and architects, and modern images. Each scarf reflects the culture and traditions of a specific region. Among the exhibits are scarves with Gzhel painting, Dymkovo toys, Vologda lace, Perm animal style, Tula samovar, the nature of Transbaikalia and Kamchatka, architectural masterpieces from Kaliningrad, Karelia, Dagestan, and many other themes. In addition, a number of scarves are dedicated to symbols common to all peoples. The items presented at the exhibition are available for purchase. In addition to art scarves, guests of the exhibition will be able to familiarize themselves with the photo project "Russians in Fashion", watch the short film "The Birth of the Scarf", and listen to lectures by experts in the field of culture. Designer Nina Ruchkina: "Admiration for the culture of the Urals, love for my homeland became an inspiring impulse for creating the first scarf. Today, every design we create is a tribute to the traditions of our country. We strive for the scarves 'Russians in Fashion' to delight women, remain in memory as a reflection of the great heritage of Russia, and serve as valuable and significant gifts."
