The project illustrates over six centuries of domestic culture, showing how traditions shaped the artistic language of the country. The focus is on continuity, beauty, and the inner integrity of the national heritage. The exhibition includes over 650 works from the collection of the Russian Museum and covers the period from the 16th century to the early 21st century. It features paintings, costumes, lace, rare examples of cross-stitch and gold embroidery, revealing the richness and diversity of the Russian artistic tradition. The works are arranged in historical perspective, allowing one to trace how forms, images, and meanings changed while remaining connected to common cultural roots. A special place is occupied by the canvases of recognized masters, whose creativity embodies ideas of family, childhood, home, hospitality, and folk holidays. Among the authors are Boris Kustodiev, Alexei Venetsianov, Konstantin and Vladimir Makovsky, Philipp Malyavin, and others. The concluding section is dedicated to fashion: costumes created based on traditional motifs are presented, reinterpreting the folk heritage in a modern key.
