For the first time, the "Giving Hope" foundation is hosting an event in a new format: only purebred dogs and cats looking for a home will come to the festival. More than 20 animal assistance teams will gather at the exhibition, each specializing in a specific breed - from Huskies and Poodles to St. Bernards and Hounds. Director of the "Giving Hope" foundation, Svetlana Safonova: "The foundation has been helping animals for almost 15 years. Mostly, these are shelters where mixed-breed dogs and cats are kept. But recently, we have been receiving many requests for help from 'purebred' teams. We conducted a mini-survey among friends and colleagues not involved in animal protection and were surprised. It turned out that everyone knows about shelters, but few are aware that there are communities where you can adopt a purebred animal for free. This is where the idea to hold a large-scale adoption exhibition to promote these teams was born. Something like: 'Want a purebred cat or dog? Don't buy, adopt from a team!' All dogs and cats coming to the festival are healthy and looking for caring owners. Animals are transferred under a responsible care agreement (you need to have a passport with you), and if something goes wrong, the ward will definitely be accepted back. The festival program includes kindness lessons for children, dog demonstrations, consultations with specialists (dog trainers, cat specialists, animal psychologists, veterinarians), quizzes, workshops, and a charity fair. There will also be a collection point for food for the wards. The organizers invite everyone to come with family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones to be part of a big good deed and possibly find a new friend. Details on the website.
