The project brings together works by more than 30 contemporary authors. In the artworks, nature acts not only as a theme but also as a full-fledged participant in the creative dialogue with humans. In the early 20th century, the avant-garde was associated with ideas of progress and technical discoveries. Artists built images of the future inspired by science. But alongside this, they turned to nature, viewing it as a source of knowledge and artistic solutions. This led to experiments with form, color, and texture. Mikhail Matyushin, along with Elena Guro and his students, studied the perception of color and the form of natural objects. His "Color Handbook" became a reference book for many generations of authors. For the masters of that time, nature was not a background but an equal participant in the creative process. Today, interest in this topic has been rethought. The authors - Yulia Altukhova, Marina Astakhova, Sergey Boyarintsev, Antonina Garasko, Victoria Dzina, Nafisa Jabbarova, Maya-Sophia Zhumatina, Anastasia Zubareva, Stefania Karinskaya-Nikitina, Anna Tut, and others - explore the fragile balance between humans and the environment.
