The exhibition offers to consider the poet's journey as a cultural and historical route. Through objects and artworks, the image of Russia in the Pushkin era is revealed. The project dedicated to Alexander Pushkin's travels invites visitors to follow the poet's routes and view Russia of his time through literature and art. The exhibition unfolds as an imaginary journey spanning tens of thousands of versts, combining historical details and artistic images. More than 120 exhibits are presented in the space: illustrations for Pushkin's works created by artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as book editions reflecting the structure of roads of that era. Among them are guides from the early 19th century and items related to road life, including rare household items. The exhibition is complemented by porcelain sculptures.
