The works of four generations of the Stefanovsky family are gathered in a joint exhibition on the theme of winter - alive, tender, almost fairy-tale-like. The exhibition "Under the Snow" is a family chronicle told through the language of painting. The canvases of Peter and Natalia Stefanovsky, architects, linguists, and artists, transport the viewer to snow-covered corners of Russia and Europe, to the pages of winter travels, to the atmosphere of ancient cities and secluded châteaux. Each work is a fragment of a personal journey, reflected with tenderness and warmth. The exhibition is joined by the continuers of the dynasty, young artists Andrei and Sergey Stefanovsky. Even at a young age, they create independent works filled with fine observation and a deep sense of color. The works are influenced by their mentors - V.N. Slatinsky and O.Yu. Chekalnikov, where academic rigor and lightness of improvisation can be felt. Visitors can expect a bright and sensual palette of images and colors, in which winter appears not as a cold season, but as a period of inner light and tranquility. Ideas on where to go in Moscow are collected on our website.
