Two artistic optics - graphics and painting - collide and begin to argue with each other in one space. The project builds a conversation about the modern view of everyday life through the contrast of scale, material, and intonation. The exhibition combines small graphic sheets by David Ter-Oganyan and large-format canvases by Sergey Skutaru. The contrast of sizes becomes a starting point for dialogue: intimate works require a focused gaze, while painting sets a powerful rhythm and captures the space as a whole. The authors interpret the surrounding reality differently. In Ter-Oganyan's works, everyday scenes and details transform into an exploration of the nature of contemporary art - from the legacy of the avant-garde to the present day. The artist uses tape, torn sheets, and markers, addressing materials that are usually not perceived as "high". This choice emphasizes the distance between decorative painting and critical artistic expression. Skutaru, on the other hand, works with an intense painted surface.
