The gallery "Hazina" opens an exhibition of two Kazan artists - Grigory Aydinov and Rishat Gazeev, who brought views of Istanbul and Khakassia. During three weeks in Istanbul, Aydinov and Gazeev painted more than thirty works each - they went out with sketchbooks in the morning and returned in the evening. On the canvases, minarets and old quarters, the shores of straits and city streets settled - everything they managed to capture during the day. The Istanbul series became for both artists an appeal to a completely different cultural tradition, and this is felt in the very nature of the works - dense, rich, painted in one breath. The Khakassia series complements the Istanbul one: here there is a different nature and a different scale - steppes and mountains instead of city streets. Together, the two cycles form a route between completely dissimilar places. The exhibition, following the Turkish plein air, has already been shown at the Consulate General of Russia in Istanbul, where, according to Ambassador Petr Stegniy, it made a strong impression on Turkish visitors and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
