The exhibition explores the role of the collector as the author of their own cultural statement and shows how private collections shape the artistic scene. The third and final part of the project "The River of Time Does Not Tolerate Ice" is dedicated to those who perceive collecting not as a hobby, but as an important gesture - social, cultural, personal. The exhibition tells the stories of people who, through owning art, form their own perspective on time and offer the viewer a new look at history - corrected, enriched, hand-collected from numerous artifacts. The exhibition shows that the collector often becomes a full participant in the artistic process: their taste and choices create the context in which works acquire new connections and meanings. "Garden Against City" is about the dynamic, protean space of the modern art scene, the city as a theater, and its inhabitants as recipients of artistic messages. The project concludes a triptych of reflections on the role of art within a commercial gallery and what happens to it when it goes beyond its limits.
