The exhibition introduces the artistic image of the peoples of Russia through porcelain sculpture, ethnographic materials, and museum objects. At the center of the project is the famous series "Peoples of Russia," created in the early 20th century and recreated by contemporary masters using historical technologies. The project is dedicated to one of the largest artistic series created in pre-revolutionary Russia. In the early 20th century, by order of Emperor Nicholas II, a collection of porcelain figures "Peoples of Russia" was created, depicting representatives of various peoples of the empire. The work was based on scientific research, ethnographic materials, and authentic costumes. Today, this series has been revived thanks to the work of artists and sculptors from the Imperial Porcelain Factory. In the workshops of the enterprise, the figures were re-cast by hand and painted using classical technology, while modern modeling methods helped restore lost details and achieve high accuracy. In the exhibition, the sculptures are shown alongside items from museum collections - fabrics, elements of national costumes, jewelry, and everyday objects. The display is complemented by materials from scientific expeditions of the early last century - photographs, sketches, and documents that trace the creation of the collection.
