The focus of Mikhail Dmitriev's work is on workers, students, and families. In black-and-white and color photographs, one theme resonates in different rhythms - the dignity of everyday life and its light. For many years, Mikhail Dmitriev has been photographing those he calls People with a capital P. His photographs capture working meetings at factories, dates during the white nights, dances at village weddings, and the first moments of a newborn's life. Each shot transforms into a small story, revealing the characters within. If you look closely, the people in the photographs seem to begin moving to the rhythm of the music. Gazes, gestures, and poses come together to form their own "melody," while the theme of "Echo of War" runs through many works: in faces, details, and moods. The composition and rhythm of the frame for the author are connected to jazz rhythms: it is important to hear the common breath of the space, to catch the moment when everything connects, and then press the button. At the exhibition, you can see original bromide prints from the 1970s and 1980s and color photographs from the late 1980s to the early 2000s.
