The museum's foundation holds dozens of stories that rarely come out of storage. This exhibition gathers the most expressive finds of recent years - from autographs to items that make it easier to understand private life and a great era. Museum collections grow quietly: new documents, letters, and photographs arrive one by one, sometimes many years after they were written or taken. Here, they decided to show what usually remains behind closed doors of the funds, and therefore various items are presented side by side - from a slip of paper with a short note to a family archive. In the spotlight are autographs and handwritten testimonies of the poetess herself: early postcards from travels, letters from the emigration period with everyday details and requests, as well as translations of Lermontov's poetry into French made in the late 1930s. A separate layer is the correspondence of the family: letters from Ivan Vladimirovich Tsvetaev to art historian Farmakovsky, messages from Sergey Efron from emigration, texts by Georgy and Ariadne Efron that help reconstruct their life after the loss of their parents. Among the rarities is the typewritten manuscript of the lost diary of Maria Alexandrovna, the poetess's mother, while memorial items - clothing, accessories, household items, diaries, business cards, notebooks - add a human intonation to the documents. A separate stand features materials that return to the context of the Silver Age: manuscripts of poems and autographs of Alexander Shiryayevets, Sofia Parnok, Konstantin Balmont.
